IBPS Notification 2016

IBPS Selection process 2016
IBPS Clerk Selection Process: Candidates need to clear two stages. First is “Preliminary Exam” and Second is “Mains Exam”. Those who clear the preliminary exam, are allowed to appear in Mains exam.
IBPS PO Selection Process: Aspirants will have to clear “Preliminary Exam” to be eligible for “Mains exam”. Once Aspirant clears both exam, He/She will have to go through the interview process. Those, who qualify after the interview, will get the job.
IBPS SO Selection Process: There will be two stages. First is CWE and second is Interview. Those who passed both stages will be working as Specialist Officer.
IBPS RRB Selection Process: IBPS RRB Clerk Exam will have same selection procedure as IBPS Clerk exam. But IBPS RRB PO exam will have both Preliminary and Mains exam. IBPS RRB PO Exam aspirants will not have to go through the interview.
Number of candidates applied for IBPS
As you can see in the image below, Number of applicants who apply for IBPS exams grown exponentially. Now Each year more than 10 Million aspirants apply for IBPS exam for various posts.
Post wise stats are given here. You can check that more than 3 million aspirants were applied for IBPS PO and 3.3 million for IBPS clerk exam within last two years. And also, 8.05 Lakh aspirants applied for IBPS Specialist officer exam.
When we move toward IBPS RRB, stats are surprisingly high. You can see that around 2 million candidates applied for IBPS RRB Clerk and more than 1.6 Million for Officer Scale (PO) exam in last two years.
